If you cannot find an answer to your question, please get in touch via the message button (bottom right of your screen) or via the Contact Us page.
To keep things as simple and efficient as possible, we've created a digital form for you to submit your RSVP.
Please click on the RSVP tab at the top of this page to access the form.
We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP by Friday 16th August 2024, so that we can finalise plans and arrangements with our vendors.
We know that not everyone can attend.
Please let us know via the RSVP if you aren't able to make the wedding.
We are hoping to be able to live stream the ceremony for those who can't join us in person but are interested in watching online.
You can select the live stream as a preference on your RSVP, but don't worry if you'd rather not - it's simply an option for those who might!
We appreciate that the wedding may be a little too long for some of our guests.
Please let us know which parts you plan to attend via your RSVP.
Although we'd love to offer a plus one for all of our guests, we have a strict guest list to meet venue restrictions.
Unless explicitly stated, only those invited are able to attend.
We want you all to be able to kick-back, relax and celebrate with us.
Other than a few very special guests, this is an adults-only event.
We appreciate that many of you will be travelling quite the distance to celebrate with us and we're lucky to have all that we need. Your presence at our wedding is the best gift of all.
If you would like to get us something, we're planning on providing information about suggested small gifts or contributions to our honeymoon fund soon!
If you'd like our postal address for any cards etc. please drop us a message and we'll send it over to you.
There is no official dress code but we recommend semi-formal attire.
Morning suits and top hats are not required, although both the Mother of the Groom and Mother of the Bride will be wearing "a good-going hat" for the occasion!
The colour scheme for the wedding will be based on autumnal colours with bridesmaids wearing burnt orange /rust coloured dresses.
You can either match the theme, or clash with it, whatever your preference may be!
Although the wedding will be held in a small rural village, we don't anticipate guests having to cross fields and jump fences! That being said, you may wish to bring shoes that are a somewhat weather-resistant for the evening.
Please see Weather Expectations on "Our Wedding Day" page for more information including footwear.
Autumn weddings can be a little unpredictable weather-wise.
At the risk of jinxing the weather on the day, here is an overview of the weather on 5th October over the last few years:
We've provided a short list of places to stay locally on our "Travel & Accommodation" page.
Please let us know if you need any assistance / support to make your arrangements.
We are providing a shuttle service between the daytime reception and evening reception.
You will need to arrange transport to the ceremony on the morning and then a ride back home / to your accommodation when the celebrations conclude.
Yes, there is parking available at The Bourne Valley Inn where the ceremony and daytime reception will be held.
There is no parking available at The Black Barn for the evening reception, but The Bourne Valley Inn have confirmed they're happy for guests to leave their cars overnight if they are driving to the ceremony on the morning.
We recommend pre-booking taxis in advance, and in groups (where possible).
Northern guests please note:
Taxis are few and far between - there is no Hampshire equivalent to Boro Taxis!
Please ensure you've pre-arranged a taxi back to your hotel / accommodation or you may be bunking up with the geese for the evening!
We've provided a list of recommended taxi services on our "Travel & Accommodation" page, including relevant links and phone numbers should you need them.
